Description
It is an open secret. We all want to put food on their table. We work hard to make sure that we have enough money to feed families and ourselves. However, Matthew 6:11 lets us know where our food comes from. It all comes from God. When we have this view and realize that God is the source of our blessings-, even culinary ones- it becomes very easy for us to be thankful.
If walls could talk, dining room walls would have lots to say. For ages, they have been our message boards. We have continued the tradition and have wall decals that make our messages visually appealing. One wall lettering bearing the ‘give us this day our daily bread’ scripture carries the day in this image. Its aim: to remind us not to take things like food for granted! Here’s how we used the wall: positioned the Matthew 6:11 wall letters on a beige wall beside an arched doorway and adjacent, French windows; threw in a decorative swirl and we instantly had a captivating interior décor. Make sure the wall letters are the same shade as the blinds over the windows and one cannot help gazing at the patio visible through the windows. With a view like this at every mealtime, how can one forget God’s generosity?
The table runner and its green potted plant were excellent accent pieces for the light taupe tiled floor. The table’s pedestal and chairs were visible through the glass dining table top. Clearly, the aim is to make all the décor in the room visible so that the diners can fully appreciate all the finer things in life. The message on the wall quotes is appropriate!
